Martins Custom Baits Covert Compact Football Jig

Meet the Covert Compact Football Jig—built for anglers who demand subtlety, precision, and performance in pressured waters.

Designed with our new Covert head shape, this jig excels at blending seamlessly into the bottom, mimicking natural forage while maintaining a low profile that won’t spook wary fish. Its compact size delivers a finesse presentation without sacrificing the ability to move efficiently across rocky structure.

Available in 7/16 oz. and 9/16 oz., the Covert Compact Football Jig gives you the versatility to maintain bottom contact in varying depths and conditions. The fine-cut silicone skirt adds lifelike movement with just the slightest motion, creating a natural, flowing action that triggers bites when others fail.

At its core is a premium Gamakatsu 60-degree hook, providing the perfect balance of strength and hook-up efficiency, especially when fishing deeper structure or dragging across hard bottom.

With its smaller overall profile, this jig pairs perfectly with 2.5″ to 3″ trailers, making it ideal for matching compact forage and dialing in a more refined presentation.
